Resiliency Education & Skills Training (REST) workshops offer an experiential education with new skills learned to:

Reduce/prevent professional burnout, improve interdisciplinary communication, and rejuvenate empathic care for patients.

Borrowing from the research findings and theoretical constructs of Narrative Medicine, Relational Therapy, Interpersonal Communication Theory, and Trauma Recovery work, REST workshops utilize creative interpersonal interventions that allow for unique professional and personal reflection, stress reduction, and a rejuvenated perspective/attitude toward the work that you do in healthcare.

REST workshops can be effective for medical staff teams, either in their
workplace or in the New Canaan or New York offices.  Perfect for doctors, nurses, psychotherapists, dentists, and emergency care workers to reduce burnout and reinvest in practice.

REST has been taught at Yale University School of Medicine as an elective course in 2010.

Workshops held in the New Canaan and NYC offices both on weekends and evenings during the week.  Participants are expected to commit to one group per month for a minimum of three months.  Fee structure varies with number of groups prepaid.

Coffee, refreshments, professional and personal resilience provided.
